WEDDING PLANNING: VENUE

Our wedding venue will be at a FREE CHAPEL called CHAPEL DULCINEA!
Like I said its a FREE Chapel, well you have to pay $100 to reserve your wedding day but you get your money back if you show up on your wedding day XD
The way I found the Chapel was through my boss lady from my very first job, she saw the Chapel in the news paper and then called me to inform me about it, then I asked my brother for $100 so I can reserve my wedding day time slot, there was only one time slot left at the time. Anyway long story short, later my day was booked I was super bummed, but I kept checking, then it was available again and my brother gave me the money, I reserved it and I also did pay him back.

The only bad thing with my time slot is from 6PM-8PM
I don't mind that its two hours long its just that its a bit of a drive, the wedding ends late, so we might not have time for a party afterwords!!
But I am not worried about that anymore, me and my fiance agreed to have a party before the day of the wedding to celebrate and just get married the day after!
and I'm beginning to love the time of the day that I got! I just hope I get the sunset, If not, the lanterns they have there will make the Chapel so much more romantic! I think either way I win!

The day we went to visit the Chapel I learned quite a bit about it.
The owner decided to name the Chapel after Dulcinea, a female character in the novel called DON QUIXOTE.
Dulcinea is a young woman that Don Quixote was passionately in love with and often calls her his true love, even though he has never talked to her nor met!

I find that kind of a coincidence because when I was in High School, that's where me and my fiance Chadd know each other from, I first saw him and I immediately fell for him! I don't know what it was about him that I found so attractive, I was just so very attracted to him! I didn't know his name, I didn't know anything about him! I often told myself he would be my future husband! LOL and who knew? WHO KNEW I would end up his WIFE!!

SIDE STORY: He was rly into art and he was rly good at it too!! one year I got to go to an art competition, he went too! And well I was hoping I would get a chance to hang out with him and talk! But whenever I tried looking for him I couldn't find him! So I just hung out with my friend Travis(he was friends with Chadd), and after we were done presenting our art with the judges we (along with a some others) went out to GATTI TOWN, which is a fancy Mr Gatties with arcade games. So I had one token left and I couldn't do anything with it so I kept it. When we came back Chadd went up to us in a rush and asked us where we went, we just went to go eat, I guess since a lot of us went he thought we had left him behind! And I remember him being upset that he didn't come with us because he was hungry too, so I handed him the token I had left and told him it was a souvenir. A few years later when we first started dating, he showed me the coin I had given him in High School 4 years prior to. I was kind of shocked that he had kept the coin for so long!! He has mentioned before that he wants to make the coin into a ring and have that as my wedding ring, or just use it to propose with. I thought that was super sweet! but we have yet to go through with that plan.

I'm just so glad and happy that we found a PERFECT place to have our wedding at!

WEDDING PLANNING: BOUQUET

I'm getting married to my one and only Chadd!! >w<
I feel myself so lucky!!
I was signed up on THE KNOT they had a lot of cute ideas for weddings but you know it all seemed too 'cookie cutter' for me, and I'm not the cookie cutter type, although I do LOVE cookies ;D

While I was surfing on the web for other wedding ideas I ran into this new website called OFFBEAT BRIDE which I IMMEDIATELY fell in LOVE with!!
ALL of the ideas shown in their website are completely and 100% original, and unique, and not cookie cutter!! AT ALL!! I felt like I have found a website that finally understands me!!

The way I found the website was because I had found a picture of a bouquet that was made completely out of floral themed brooches!!

So I will now have to begin my search at finding floral themed brooches before my wedding day in October 10, 2010
Yes I am aware that its 10-10-10
October ten is when we began to date! and well a year and a half later he proposes and we decide to wait and get married in another year and a half, on the same date we started dating! Things just seemed to work out perfectly :3

Well anyway I guess I'll post more wedding stuff up here from now :3
It will help me with keeping track of what ideas I get and stuff!

My new Sailor Moon toys!!

For XMAS one of my good friends Tim gave me a gift certificate to one of my favourite stores... TOY JOY!!
It's an amazing local toy store here in Austin.
So They had these new Sailor Moon toys of the sailor scouts little house/castle things!
so adorable!!

I bought one of my own when they first got them, since they didn't have that many of Sailor Moon I decided to get her first! And that was about $20 for it. They didn't have Mercury, the register girl had told me that it was back stock of stuff they couldn't sell anymore. And I figured they had sold out of Mercury first because in Japan the most popular sailor scout was Mercury~~

It came with some accessories for her room, and stickers to put on them (which I have already put on)
I love the huge 80's phone it comes with, also tiny little pens and pencils, as well as her suit case with pencil case!! The alarm clock is another cute thing that came with her room and on top of her dresser she has her communicating watch, or a sticker of it atleast.

She comes with a super tiny super detailed wand!
I'm thinking of super gluing it to her so I don't lose it D; as I have done in the past!!
She is also very detailed!

Well with my friends gift card to TOY JOY I went and bought the next one that they had the least of, which was Sailor Jupiter, and it was at a very discounted price!! but I was told that it didn't have all the pieces so it would just be her and the house, so I decided to go with Sailor Venus!








Sailor Venus' house/castle is medical themed~
I guess because in the show she wants to be a nurse~
I love the accessories that come with hers! she has a tiny syringe, well compared to the two inch Venus doll its huge! also some scissors a thing to take your temperature with. OH! and the things to measure your height and weight, oh and that weird round thing that also came with the Sailor Moon house, I think its supposed to be like a seat of some sort, and a screen so you can change in privacy and stuff.


My only other two inch figure is of Sailor Mars so I had her visit both houses!
