Chadd's Comics! VOL. 1.

For those of you who don't know. Chadd is my husband!
He loves comic books. his collection is like none I've ever seen, that's coming from a girl who hasn't seen many comic book collections... BUT trust me! It's quite large!

He started reading comics when he was around 7. His older brother Stacey introduced him to comic books, later his brother handed down his collection to Chadd. And that's when it all started!

He's always had trouble with reading, so comics naturally are easier to read for him. He's told me of a time in High School where he asked his teacher if it was ok for him to read comic books in class for an in-class "reading time". His teacher told him "if you have one, sure", and of course Chadd has a comic book! But the rest of the class didn't, and they were bitching at the fact that he could sit there and read a comic while every one else had to settle for whatever the teacher had to read in the class room.

Because of this obsession Chadd has become an encyclopedia of comic book information, as well as an encyclopedia of a very wide variety of useless information, a dictionary (terrible speller though, due to his issue with reading), and why he's got such awesome art skills!

The picture up there is our new apartments version of what we used to have at our previous apartment. And those are just his graphic novels, and a very small pile of issues on top. But I'll leave to show off his issues in a diff post!

THE SONG

its not that we met at 17 or anything...

We were digging for records one day, and Chadd was showing me what he found and when he got to this song I told him "this makes me want to slow dance with you"

Later on that night, I was feeling really down because I had missed my sister since she moved to California. In the middle of my crying fit, he ran to play this song and got me up and started slow dancing with me. It was one of THE most romantic things he's ever done~
So I hold this song dear to my heart!

Today...

Long.Ass.Story... short

Most of the day was filled with anger and frustrations and arguments between the hubby and I.... SUX!

My solution?... SEX!!

Don't wait too many days or things will tense up and everything will become a problem~
It happens sometimes, cant help it if both parties are busy. Still doesn't mean its not an important thing that needs to be addressed VERY often.

Sorry for the super long time of not posting, but we had to get rid of our internet/cable/phone service coz it got too expensive. SO! now I'm married, moved into an apt with just me and the hubby, and got internet service again, feels like coming out of the stone age! Not that I would know what that's like~

anyway, new updates?
got a tattoo wedding ring, wore steel toe combat boots for my wedding!
Been married for about a month and a week, been working way too much. Have not had a chance go get my name changed, although I found out the hard way that I don't have to go to the DPS office for that but in fact print out a form and take it to the justice of the peace place.

I work 3 jobs..
one is helping out my friends at the corner cafe in the mornings from about seven to ten,right before my second job(Quiznos), which is coincidentally enough next door! And I work there from ten to 1:30. Then 2 to 3 times a week I go over to Total Uniforms to do some embroidery work from 2 to 6. By then I'm exhausted, hungry, and sleepy. so I don't do much when I get home after me 45min bus ride!
My husband works nights, so I hardly get to spend time with him, because he is not working while I am, and vise versa.

So changing my name might need to wait yet another week, since I cant find the time to do it.

Thats it for now, wish I had some help with laundry, dishes, and cleaning... seems thats all I ever do now...

WEDDING PLANNING: VENUE

Our wedding venue will be at a FREE CHAPEL called CHAPEL DULCINEA!
Like I said its a FREE Chapel, well you have to pay $100 to reserve your wedding day but you get your money back if you show up on your wedding day XD
The way I found the Chapel was through my boss lady from my very first job, she saw the Chapel in the news paper and then called me to inform me about it, then I asked my brother for $100 so I can reserve my wedding day time slot, there was only one time slot left at the time. Anyway long story short, later my day was booked I was super bummed, but I kept checking, then it was available again and my brother gave me the money, I reserved it and I also did pay him back.

The only bad thing with my time slot is from 6PM-8PM
I don't mind that its two hours long its just that its a bit of a drive, the wedding ends late, so we might not have time for a party afterwords!!
But I am not worried about that anymore, me and my fiance agreed to have a party before the day of the wedding to celebrate and just get married the day after!
and I'm beginning to love the time of the day that I got! I just hope I get the sunset, If not, the lanterns they have there will make the Chapel so much more romantic! I think either way I win!

The day we went to visit the Chapel I learned quite a bit about it.
The owner decided to name the Chapel after Dulcinea, a female character in the novel called DON QUIXOTE.
Dulcinea is a young woman that Don Quixote was passionately in love with and often calls her his true love, even though he has never talked to her nor met!

I find that kind of a coincidence because when I was in High School, that's where me and my fiance Chadd know each other from, I first saw him and I immediately fell for him! I don't know what it was about him that I found so attractive, I was just so very attracted to him! I didn't know his name, I didn't know anything about him! I often told myself he would be my future husband! LOL and who knew? WHO KNEW I would end up his WIFE!!

SIDE STORY: He was rly into art and he was rly good at it too!! one year I got to go to an art competition, he went too! And well I was hoping I would get a chance to hang out with him and talk! But whenever I tried looking for him I couldn't find him! So I just hung out with my friend Travis(he was friends with Chadd), and after we were done presenting our art with the judges we (along with a some others) went out to GATTI TOWN, which is a fancy Mr Gatties with arcade games. So I had one token left and I couldn't do anything with it so I kept it. When we came back Chadd went up to us in a rush and asked us where we went, we just went to go eat, I guess since a lot of us went he thought we had left him behind! And I remember him being upset that he didn't come with us because he was hungry too, so I handed him the token I had left and told him it was a souvenir. A few years later when we first started dating, he showed me the coin I had given him in High School 4 years prior to. I was kind of shocked that he had kept the coin for so long!! He has mentioned before that he wants to make the coin into a ring and have that as my wedding ring, or just use it to propose with. I thought that was super sweet! but we have yet to go through with that plan.

I'm just so glad and happy that we found a PERFECT place to have our wedding at!

A LOVE STORY: part one!

Once upon a time there was a shy chubby mexican girl in highschool...
Day dreaming most of the day about the perfect prince charming she thought she would never get to meet...

there was a new boy in school, she would have only seen him from a distance.
She was in the art club and soon he would join too, and for the first time she got a very good look at him she found herself unable to look away. Once she learned his name love began to plant roots for this boy... this boy named.....

Chadd...

Luz has a quiet obsession with this boy named Chadd...
she could never express her feelings to him in person, she couldn't get to know him. Luz judged herself too harshly, a prince charming has to have a perfect princess, "he probably already has a perfect princess... thin, beautiful and all~" she thought to herself all the time!
she could only love him from a far. She didnt know much of this boy named Chadd, only that he was very artistic, very attractive and oh so perfect.
Chadd would graduate in a year then she would never see him again...

Luz would still think of him, she told herself that would be her future husband if only in her mind. She would later pursue many other relationships for three very long years, little by little she would lose hope to ever see her prince charming again...

Luz lead an individual life moving out of her mother's house and in with her sister. She grew tired of taking the bus to school, work, and any other place. With her move to her sister's house, she took a different bus rout to her new home.

One day Luz was headed home with no hurry after a long day at work, almost missing her bus, she ran and chased it, knowing that another bus will come by in less than twenty minutes, but she was in no hurry although she felt the urge to ride this specific bus. Out of breath she loads the bus, nearly empty she searches for a good place to sit.
To her surprise she sees her one and only prince, perfect prince Chadd, sitting oh so lonesome, he recognizes her and looks to her for some company. She smiles at him after he smiles at her. Luz's heart begins to pound faster the closer she gets to her prince charming, as the bus takes off she holds on to something to keep her from losing her balance. she was planing to sit behind him, but he clears the seat next to him, she pauses and feels overwhelmed with happiness that Chadd wants her to sit next to him.

They begin to talk and catch up on each others' lives. Luz never wanted this moment to end, as fast as they started talking the conversation ended faster once Chadd said his stop was next, he hands her his business card with his name, she asked where his work was at, and he said the doors at PARADISE....
She thought of her self as silly not figuring out that her prince charming guards the doors to PARADISE~~



Months passed and all Luz could think about was that one awesome moment she spend on the bus with Chadd.
Wanting to see more of Chadd, she decided to go down and walk around places near Paradise to see if she could get noticed by him...
right as she decided to start leaving, she almost takes one step to cross the street, but hears her name being called from a distance. Running towards her is her prince charming saying hello, they have a small conversation and exchange phone numbers before he has to go back to the doors at Paradise.

INTRODUCING...

Hello I would like you to meet the people I live with!
To start with, I live with my boyfriend, Chadd. And his best friend Matt.
Recently my younger brother graduated and my mother remarried, since there was a chance that my mother was going to move out of town, we offered for my younger brother, Steve, to come stay with us and he did, although my mother never moved.

I find tons of things online that I want to buy, but before a couple of months ago I didn't have card, now that I do I'm afraid I'll spend more money than I have lol
Maybe I shouldn't put so much money in my account
